Why We Love the Sound of Bunnies Chewing
Hello Fluffle Fam! Today's episode came straight from a wonderful question sent in by someone in our Little Loppy Roo Instagram community: "why is it that we love hearing bunnies chew but can't stand it from humans?" What a brilliant question. I couldn't stop thinking about it so I went and did the research, and this episode is the result. We're talking misophonia, ASMR, prey animal safety cues, the parasympathetic nervous system, and why the sound of Roo and Kumo eating breakfast is basically free therapy. It's fun, it's fascinating, and it's for every bunny parent who has ever sat on the floor just listening to their bunnies chomp and felt completely at peace.
